How Families Can Beat the Lines
Disney offers the Fastpass to everyone who has a Disney theme park Ticket. Think of it as a reservation to return to the attraction so you can ride without waiting in the long lines. The best way to take advantage of using the Fastpasses is to send a "runner" to the Fastpass attraction to retrieve everyone's Fastpass. In the meantime the slower moving group can make their way to the next attraction on their list. This will cut down on the extra walking for the rest of the group, but still allow you to use most of (if not all) the Fastpass attractions which will save you lots of time standing in line.

My first time to experience Disney was on a family vacation to Walt Disney World when I was 11. When I walked through the turnstile at Magic Kingdom I was greeted with the sights of Cinderella’s Castle, the quaint atmosphere of Main Street and a blinking light announcing I had won a prize because I was that certain number customer at the park that day! To say that I was beyond excited is an understatement, I was at the most Magical Place on Earth and was being treated like a star!! I soon realized that the star treatment was not just for me, but was the environment that Disney created for each of its’ guests! I knew that was something special and fun and that all things Disney would be a part of my life for years to come.

I now live in Frisco with my husband and 5 children and we look to Disney for many of our vacation choices! As I had grown in age I had also grown in my love for Disney! When I was able to plan my first Disney vacation for my family I started by doing some research, I soon realized how many wonderful opportunities Disney had to offer and that I wanted to incorporate as much of it as possible!! It seemed both exciting and daunting at the same time. I looked to Crazy About The Mouse to help me navigate the Disney “waters” in order that we would have the best possible vacation!! It paid off with a trip that my husband, myself and our 2 oldest kids will never forget! We will treasure those memories for a lifetime!! I knew we would be back soon and the next time we planned our trip through CATM we brought the whole family and grandparents to share in the magic!! What an absolute gift we gave to ourselves in having that experience with them!!

Realizing the joy that Christy had helped to plan for our family led me to the desire to work to create that same type of experience for others. I am so excited to join Crazy About The Mouse as a Vacation Planner! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am now a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge. I have invaluable experience when it comes to helping families plan a vacation that works for their specific needs. I have traveled with a few small children, and I have traveled with many small children. I have vacationed at WDW with friends and taken our grandparents along. We have stayed on property in various places and off property as well, enabling me to discuss the pros and cons of both.

Our Disney experiences have had to appeal to a wide range of ages and genders as I have 2 sons and 3 daughters, and yet we have never been disappointed or left anyone feeling they were lacking in activities to enjoy. I love to work hard before a vacation so that during the vacation I can truly be present and enjoy the experience I will do the same for my clients.

My desire is for each person interested in sharing in that “Disney Magic” to be able to do so with as much enthusiasm and as little stress as possible. I want you to feel confident that I will listen to both your needs and desires in order to help you create the vacation of your dreams!
